Our Work would not be Possible Without You!
My overall experience in this workshop series was very positive. This course felt like it was set up to be very inclusive, and informative no matter what level of understanding about anti-racist work in healthcare you are coming from.
After participating in this course my views of privilege and oppression have been clarified, as in I can better understand/identify them and work toward dismantling them. I feel empowered to raise my children with love and joy, instead of resorting to fear.
Just having a safe space made problems feel more manageable. Hearing stories and being able to share helped remove the stigma of what society says postpartum looks like and how we should navigate it.
